A lot of long straight roads and a few hills., only cut out the stops. This is the circuit of the Ballarat Cycle Classic, a yearly cycling event around Ballarat, the biggest town in the state of Victoria after Melbourne, the capital of Victoria. This ride is all about cancer research and the proceeds all go to the Fiona Elsley Cancer Research Institute. This circuit is also part of the Australian National Championships organised here in Ballarat every year. The ride started off in the fog which kept on depositing a fine mist on the camera lens. Also the course was laid out anti-clockwise which meant a lot of riding eastwards, resulting in a lot of sun flare in the camera lens after the fog disappeared.
