Grand Canyon Lower Rim - To Plateau Point

Start at the base of the Bright Angel Trail switchbacks (3.5 miles from the South Rim). Run to the Indian Garden campsite then turn off on to the Plateau Point trail which goes out to an overlook of the Colorado River.
