The Col du Telegraphe is a famous col just north of the Col du Galibier. Most of the climb is in the forest. Before you attack the 12 km long climb (850 m D+, 7.2% average slope), you can warm-up for 6 km on a flat road, and after the climb you can nicely cool-down during the descent to the ski village Valloire.
