Travers City has an extensive bike trail network. The Leelanau Trail is part of U.S. Bicycle Route 35, but also an all paved non-motorized recreational rail trail of 17-mile in length that extends from the west side of Traverse City, Michigan to Suttons Bay, Michigan. This ride starts about 3 miles north of the trail head in Travers City and ends in the small town of Suttons Bay located on Great Travers Bay; which opens up to Lake Michigan. The trail is in great shape, but there were a few bumps and one that caused my camera to fall out of position. My appologies for the one minute look at my handle bars until I noticed and made the correction.
